Sharara: A similar look to lehenga:
It is a fact that sharara is basically a traditional and ethnic wear
worn out by Muslims women. It was introduced in India in the mughal
times. In general terms it is a kind of lehenga choli or ghagra you
can say. However it only appears to be of lehenga style but it is a
bit different then that. Lehenga is like a long skirt. It has a
flared pattern in the bottom and is fitted from the top. In
contradiction to this sharara is like wide legged pants.
Sharara as
said above are divided in two parts comprising of and are fitted at
the knee portion. It is flared at the portion below the knee.
Sharara basically gives an impression of skirt as it is flared from
bottom. To clear the concept of lehenga and sharara here is another
difference between the two. Other than above sharara is worn out
with long kurtas whereas lehenga comprises of choli or kurti with
it.
